CONNECTICUT TRANSPORTATION VETERAN JOINS CORNERSTONE SYSTEMS

Memphis, Tenn., January 19, 2005 – Cornerstone Systems, a nationwide provider of transportation and logistics solutions, announced the appointment of Bob Dowd as account executive based in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Mr. Dowd, a lifelong Connecticut resident, will work closely with the Cornerstone Systems offices in Boston and New York to create new clients and provide intermodal, railcar, trucking and logistics services to existing clients.

With over 40 years of transportation and logistics experience, Mr. Dowd was most recently with the Hub Group in New York and New Jersey for 16 years, where he served as regional sales manager. Prior to that he held a sales manager position with a regional trucking company based in Connecticut, and he was operations manager for a shipper co-operative association.
